Q: I recently replaced my motherboard with an Aopen board, freezing problems with my old. But when I boot up, my 1600 + shows only a 1050mhz clock speed. Ive changed the multiplier on the clock to bring to 1.4, save and restart the clock only to find a residence in 1050 on startup. If I go back to my changes in the BIOS to control, they are the way I left them, equal to 1.4, but never thinking about restarting. Am I making any sense?

I wanted my computer under clock so I could play WarCraft II without immediately a scroll (which is a pain), so I underclocked the multiplier, got out of the BIOS and then realized that I never have the multiplier unlocked on the chip the first place!

I reset the jumper for the BIOS, but well . The power comes on, fans spin but no action, the screen never lights up let alone get to the BIOS in an old 700 screen.
