Q: The 4-port Dlink is $ 30 after rebate this week at BB, but I was under the impression that the Linksys is better. I currently have a Netgear rt314 and hate when it seems random dropping HTTP packets, I am often to reset the router several times a day. Moreover, it seems that the Dlink print server, a feature that would be nice is. Does the Linksys have this too? Im looking for the Linksys BEFSR41 and Dlink DL704P. I am curious what router performs better, and especially if features such as DM

Q: The computer can not even be able to see, except when I search in a network!
The only showing the workgroup.
I have a DSL modem and router Netgear RT314 with 2 computers both runningh 2k w/sp2.
The SRP1 main system installed. I have gone through the sharing, networking, user accounts, but the only way I can see y Network on the computer working on a different computer serach.
The can not see this one and this one does not see the second computer.

Q: Heres the setup:
Win2K Pro desktop (latest fixes, patches, sp2, etc) 977 503 Win2K-Pro Dell Laptop (“”) 977 503 Plugged-in RT314
-TCP/IP Netgear, NetBEUI, File / Printer parts, and the client for Microsoft Networks installed on both.
-Both have a static 192.168 addresses.
What I want to do is sync at least the documents (it seems to work) and my Outlook 2000. Pst file between the two. So, has anyone done this successfully? I assume you just put the fold

Q: I wonder if this is true about the Netgear RT314 router or not? I do not think so because I thought it was 300 meters by 300 + feet.

Q: I tried my RT314 router to work with my charter cable to get. I have the system exactly as described on the Website for charter.
CPU router can talk, can talk to CPU cable modem (with router missed). Both Cat 5 cable modem working CPU.
Anyone have any ideas?
Netgear tech support is horrible!

Q: I have a 5-6 year old 10/100mb/s Netgear wired router. No trouble at all, but I would eventually like to go wireless and I understand I can still use my old wired router now. Just wondering if I increase performance in using it wired with the newer technology or if it means only relevant to the wireless on? BTW, Im sharing a DSL connection 768/384. Thank you.
