Poll: Which backup program do you use? [norton ghost] [taking a risk]

Q: I have a discussion on another forum about backups. I have a backup my ~ 60GB of data using tar and gzip. He said he would be Norton Ghost, have used that I did not. For me, tar and gzip are as good if not better, and they came free with Debian.

So what do you think? Im not trying to slam him or anything, he could be right, but the way I look at:

1. tar and gzip stapling the community.

Norton Ghost (from NSW2003pro) support for writing to NTFS and FAT32 partitions? [ghost images] [norton ghost]

Q: My Spirit, who came with NSW2001 not support writing ghost images (or restore) NTFS partitions. I have NSW2003 Professional. Ghost is included (I think 6.0) should support NTFS partitions in the way that the earlier version does not? This will affect what I file at the partitions on my new HDS. I have the manual, but it is a 221 page PDF! Thanks!

Edit: Ive found that he only writes to NTFS, FAT32 partitions do not! WTF?
