Q: I can either go with my old version of MS Office, or I can go with the new version of OpenOffice. Or could install both, but Ill probably end up with one and stick with it. OO is good enough, or at least better than my old version of MS Office?

Q: Even the humble OpenOffice can save to PDF. It seems it would be useful if this feature is built

I hate to even more third party apps to add to my computer most of them cause not seem to convert to sound.

Open Office actually did a good job when I used it to convert to PDF.
