Q: I have Windows 2000 Pro, I welcome the many PCs from me and every time I boot I get the message that IE cannot go online. It gives me two options and try again Stay Offline. I press try again and I will go online on my homepage. But I do not know why it happens everytime. I am a Lynksis Router 4Port Hub and all my other PCs connected to this hub and have no problems (using Win 1998, XP, ME), but 2000 is much problem.

Q: Ok, my brother realm of jurisprudence is running win 98 and I am running Win ME, he is able to DVDs form CD-Rom games (he was like that) I try to play DVDs on my CD-Rom and says I need to Dcoder software or hardware, CNA someone please tell me where I can go and download the software and the name of it to install.

Q: We have a workgroup network at work here and I want access shares on other computers, but I can not . I see all the computers in the workgroup, but when I try to access them I get prompted for a username / PW. the computers are using NTFS, and all are win2000pro. Does anyone know how I can access the computers to get his P / W access at the level of the share? hgave we are a computer with win 98 and that one does not propmt for an MPV, as it helps to all

I can not open a imbeded active links on each site. I can open links from the forums, but no links posted, I can not open, even right clicking and clicking open. This is everywhere, even in finding the net and trying to use links that are posted. HELP

Q: Sorry to all difficult, but I am currently running Win 98. I play many games, and use office2k occasionally. I want more stability and performance, as I occasionally get problems with hardware (not the system ones just crash some performance issues). Anyway, it would be worth upgrading to Windows 2000? Q: At work, I do not have Fast User Switching, so ctrl-alt-del gives instantly NT 6 options of which one is the task manager. This menu displays immediately, even when the system is loaded with something, like win task manager 98.
Hitting waiting for freight that takes a while if there is a problem or a program that uses 100% CPU load and usually only after the busy schedule working.

I stoppedm looking for a way to load task manager as fast as the main options if possible. Perhap

Q: I wanted to start up password protection, so I created a new user. On promt at startup, I can still hit cancel and go into Windows. Is this because my guest account is on? How do I use it?
