Q: Ive tried a 45GB IBM 75GXP with fdisk that comes with Win98SE fdisk, but it does not seem to see anything above 8GB. I know this used to be a problem with the old BIOS, but Im sure you all know that this new.

Any idea what could be caused be stuck on the 8GB limit? I have not seen all the settings in the BIOS would. But I might be overlooking it.

Ideas/Suggestions/Solutions would be significantly appreciated.

Q: I seem to remember seeing gaming benchmarks comparing Win98SE to Win2K Pro somewhere a few years back. Can anyone refer me to a URL?

Q: I think Im about ready to swim with Win2K.

I see a pretty good deal for $ 102 for the upgrade (I have Win98SE) or $ 115 for the full version. Both are OEM Direct Deals.

Any other benefit than saving $ 13 for an upgrade version on a clean install?
