WRT54G would be used to connect to bridge? [local internet services] [wireless router]

Q: Hi – I recently discovered local Internet services surprisingly expensive. ($ 45/month and you have your own modem to buy!) So Im looking at other options. I found one of my neighbors high speed internet access – and he is willing to share it with me. He has a wireless router – and I have a WRT54G. Is there a way for me to bridge the two networks? My ultimate goal would be to be able to wirelessly connect to my wireless WRT54G which would be connected to that other network. Is that possible?
