there are not Linux ISOs for DVDs? [linux iso] [ships]

Q: I think that SuSE a version on DVD everybody else is doing?

Best Answer: All you have to do is burn the iso image to a CD. You can use ImgBurn for the job.

If you don't want to waste a CD you can also burn the iso to usb with unetbootin. That's my preferred way.

Debian has/had a jigdo file that would build you a DVD to burn.

Re:Given the download size, I think we are very early on in the realm of DVD ISOs. I've only seen one or two very special instances of a DVD ISO being made available for temporary download (KNOPPIX-DVD beta comes to mind). Maybe the boom in DVD burners this year will encourage the presence of larger ISOs.

The jigdo method (I wish other software houses would start using it!) is about the best thing since sliced bread.
