Q: Holy crapola Asylum level! I play through this level now, but I have a difficult time getting through it because Im turning into a little sissy girl. I found a strange thing to walk slowly (dunno what it is, but if thats the witch . WOW), and did not know what to do with it I shot an arrow and fire it was so fast I yelled. : (I ran after trying to deal with the fear, but ducked behind a corner. I turned the corner, but lost. Bustle I hope that I would find her! Turning corners, the opening doors franctically, I just lost. Suddenly, I was confused, standing in the middle of an unfamiliar room .

Yea, I played 3 (on the PS2 though), and am REALLY looking foward to 4. I think one of the reasons it was so freaky was because I was using my headphones, so I could hear everything! :shocked:

You could play through that entire level w/o killing a single thing. If you're a fan of the series (like I), then do yourself a favor and pick this game up. Just be sure you have the power to run it for its pretty demanding.

So you slowly sneak up to that floor and it sounds like someone is still walking above you. So you move across the catwalk to the other side. IMO, I think the zombie things kind of ruined the level. I think they should have stuck with ghosts and voices. See, once I realized there was stupid zombies, I went into war mode, where I started storm through the level firing fire arrows and going on a killing spree. Before that, I was going through slowly taking in the sites and sounds. But I found that I'd end up dying trying to pick all the locks with those stupid zombies around, so I ended up killing every single one.
I loved the voices when you go back into the past also. They sound awesome.
The bad news is my PC completely died after that level. The game kept causing my PC to reboot which I was getting by because I really like the game. But my PC did not come back up after the reboot after that level… so now I'm PC-less at home .
Did you see the FVM after that level? Holy hell its amazing. 
PC will not boot? Are you getting an error? Bummer, sorry to hear that man. Now you can't play T3 untill you fix that issue. Post the error here so we can help ya out.

Most levels I would sneak past. But the things in the asylum made awful noises and kept sneaking up on me when I was picking a lock, causing me to jump a mile into the air. Plus they run really fast when they see you. So after getting slapped a few times by them, I went into rambo mode and just went through the level exterminating them with all kinds of mines, dagger backstabs, and flaming arrow attacks. I was ruthless in my killings
If the environment hadn't have been getting to me so much… I would have ignored them.

You can sneak through unbothered in most situations. You could go through the entire Asylum without fighting. I killed a few of those creatures, but they were hard to kill and I was running out of ammo so I just snuck through most of the level.
