Q: I have a server after a 4-port router Speed Stream. The problem I have is that people can connect fine, but sometimes something happens at random times the router and you can not log on the server. the people who are already are ok. outgoing connections and the internet are ok and I can connect to the server within the network, the problem is that people outside the network can not connect. I have no idea this has happened, unless I try and login from outside the network. thing I do is manually reset the router and then everything fine.
any ideas of what I can do to prevent this? I would prefer not always put back on the router.

Re:Just bought the same router this weekend and I have the same problem. Finally had to just disconnect it and I am running routerless right now (eek) till I get my new Freesco router/server up again. My brother who is a Network engineer started laughing when I told him which router I got. Then he said, so what router you plan to buy next month when this one craps out? This gave me cause for concern.
