Re:A couple of years ago I had a similar problem with Photoshop. Out of nowhere it just wouldn't load. I'm pretty sure I didn't have to reformat my hard drive, I just uninstalled and reinstalled the program. If you haven't done this yet, give it a try.

Nice translation, but your original answer didn't show that you knew the difference. What settings are your pagefile currently at?

Wow, for a third time you don't answer my very simple question. Have you modified your operating systems paging file settings. The question has nothing to do with how much physical ram you have.
Billfine, I'll translate. "nah" = no I didn't change my page file i/expressions/rolleye.gif

he means your windows page file. like are you one of those people who tries to trick windows into not swapping by disabling the pagefile because you think you have enough ram.
bartahh, my bad. I thought he meant for photochop.
Nah, thats not it. I have plenty of RAM (minimum for photochop is 128 and I have 384).
It's strange. I've been using photochop for so long on this computer. Even when I only had 128Mb of RAM it worked fine. Then all of a suden I get this error: screenshot of error (http://aunixp35.tripod.com/adoberror.html)
so whats up?

Why don't you increase your page file?I can't do that. The error occurs before photochop even starts, so I can't get into that.
Pissing me off, but I guess I have to wait until I reformat and hope it fixes itself after that…
Thanks to everyone whose helped me
