Q: Is it possible to set all the boxes on the group to lower the volume on (not muted) at 50% as the default?
Of course you should be an admin, but how?
Can either the volume must be locked, or reset after every login?

Re:I've never heard of the ability to do this either. There's a way to have volume disabled but I don't know if there's a way to set it to a default volume level. Although I'm sure someone out there probably figured out a reg command that might make this possible.

Re:I do not believe it is possible. If it is, as was stated above it is most likely a Group Policy setting.
Start -> Run, type gpedit.msc to bring up the Group Policy editor. Careful what you do in here though if you're not familiar with the tool.
