Q: The title says it all. It is black on the left 2 / 3 of the block with three horizontal rectangles on the right side of 1 / 3. This happens when I boot the system.
Any ideas or help is appreciated.
Also, how can I enable attachments for the forums? U003e I took a screenshot but can not figure out how to attach here.

Try using your vid card in the lowest possible resolution – i.e 256 colours, 640×480 – and see if it happens. If it shows normal then check to see if there are updated drivers – check Windows Update as well. Check the BIOS date – might be new BIOS that will take care of the problem too!

Thanks Halo….no using the English version. Recently added new mobo, proc and video card. Probably something there, as this never happened previously.

I have had some funky results when using particular video cards with particular operating systems…

Re:Do you use a non-english version? I've seen that happen quite often with other languages.
I really don't think there's a way around it, but then again, I never worried much about it.
I know it didn't help, but hopefuly it was informative.
