Q: I have a Pinnacle PCTV Studio Pro, but I do not really like the PCTV Vision software that comes with, and the remote handling a number of changes IMHO. What are the names of those really good programs for things like this? Im talking about the free programs (open source, maybe?) That it is not the best, I can not remember the names . one is a TV viewing and the other is a remote handling program .
if someone could help me with some recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re:LOL.. not PC to PC remote connectivity! hehe I was talking about a physical remote controller, such as a television remote, and that HP remote that was selling on FS/T a few months ago.. what program is used to control the input from the remote?

Re:Dscaler (http://www.dscaler.org) is a good program for watching tv. Not sure about the remote control software though.

Re:a little addendum here.. I *thought* the tv software might have started with the letter B while the remote software with the letter W.. I could be wrong but for some reason these are standing out…. if anyone could give insight? thanks!
