Q: W2K server.
I have a bad ssh installation that I want to nuke from the registry, but it will not let me delete. I can remove all other keys in the registry so it will not read only.

Re:Yeah I wasn't sure if the Win2k RegEdit has the permissions on the context menu. If not the command to run is RegEdt32 (note the spelling) – a little blast from the Windows past…
Re:Permissions is another possibility – each key has the potential to be fully secured – right-click on the key in the tree and choose permissions.
Re:I think you need to run regedit32 and then right click on the key and change the permissions for it.
