Re:"start circling around on your board"
guy, i'll have a try at that later, but what do you mean by circling around on your board?

Re:there is a bug in the bullring that will give you massive points. just towards the actual "bull ring" [the place where the bull runs] of the loopty-loop start circling around on your board, the longer you do circles, the more points you get, then go through the loopty-loop and you will score massive points, i have seen up to 2.4 million points on just this one trick. if you want more info on this cheat, i am sure there are websites out there that have it.

Re:i played it for a week solid, and got 100% on all levels, except for the bull ring tournament which i have only got a silver medal on.
guy, you dont need to have a PSX to do the combo stuff, i have never played the PSX version but i find the combos rather easy.
like guy said, just practice and take one challenge at a time.

Re:Played it for a few weeks solid until the frustration factor (don't have PSX, so this combo stuff eludes me) drive me back to my beloved shooters.
I got to a 3rd place finish in the 2nd competition and have dome a lot of the onter levels, but the sheer inability to get some of the tricks, tapes or scores dorve me nuts.:(

Re:yeah, i have the pc version, but i'd rather play the PSX version. i have my tv hooked into my kickass stereo, so the awesome soundtrack sounds mucho better. plus i like the control that the ps controller has over my gamepad. admitedly the visuals on the PC are MUCH better, but this game isn't about the visuals, it is all about that addictive gameplay. the only suggestion i have is that you just keep at it. that's all it takes is practice. don't cheat, it robs the game of it's fun. just start a level with one objective, and try to accomplish that, forget about points [unless it is getting a pro, sick, etc. score] and forget about the time. just try it and eventyually you will get it. game on!

Re:you dont need a gamepad, ya just gotta get used to using the keyboard
i played the full version heaps, but have deleted now, i have gotten sick of it, but my best score for one single combo was 150,000 (on the venice beach level). compared to someone who has played the game more that is probably a low score for one combo.

Re:Bah lightweight
I got 80,000 points from a single combo in the demo. Like I said… connect those tricks together with grinds or manuals for mad points.

Re:I've only played the demo for PC and play the PSX version but of course get yourself a gamepad. And get combos! Ollie, kick trick, grind, ollie, manual, grind, grab, nose-manual,… Never try to land on the ground until you have a ton of tricks in your combo. If you where you will land can't be grinded (ground, whatever) then always do a manual so you keep your combo going. THPS2 is a bit easier in that way since in THPS1 you couldn't manual to keep combo going.
Re:ummm… YES, and now i dont do any school work… its about time i can play this game without a PS. When i went and played the original on a PS the other day i just laughed at how horrendous it looked but visuals or not this game is way to much fun. any tips? yes, get a gamepad because keyboard cannot do the controls justice. check here (http://www.thps2.f2s.com/frames.htm) for some tips.. its slow and not up to date but good resource
