Q: Im upgrading one of my systems running Windows 2000 with an Athlon 64, and I want to make sure that the work know fine.
I Windows 2000 and Windows XP does not run on hyper-threaded Pentium 4s enabled. Are there similar restrictions on an Athlon 64 should I look?
Ive looked around and there does not seem to be, but I want to make sure that Im not overlooking something. Thanks for the help!

Windows 2000 isnt a 64bit OS. It'll run fine it just wont be able to take advantage of the 64bit capabilities of the chip.
Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm not expecting it to run 64bit. As long as it works otherwise, that's all I need to know, thank you!
