Q: Just built a new PC. The BIOS detects my 200 gig hard drives without problem, but when I install XP Pro, the O / S only sees 131 gigs. Any ideas? Thanks .

You will have to add another partition if you do it that way. If you want the full 200gb available you will have to reinstall with SP2.
An easier solution is to use a GParted cd (free), partition magic, or Acronis disk director.

I was just doing some research and no, I do not have SP2 installed yet. The XP Pro CD that I have doesn't have any SPs installed. I will install it. Once the OS is up and I install SP2, will I see more disk drive space? I should according to what I've read.
Keep your current XP install as is and download nLite and a copy of SP2. Use nLite to slipstream SP2 into your current XP disc and burn an updated copy. Slipstreaming saves a ton of time and effort.
