Q: I have a wireless network, and I want to use the good old 802.11b. What brand of equipment would you recommend? I will give you a wireless router, 2-3 clients (PC cards, USB), and an access point that can work as a “repeater” to extend the range of my network to expand. Thank you.
Best Answer: yes in order to access your Tmobile wireless internet you will need their specific wireless broadband card. your integrated wifi chip is only for household wifi, like your home or a hotspot. the TMobile card will allow you to connect anywhere you get a cell phone signal. good luck

Netgear has fairly good options for scheduling access for specific clients. Check out their manuals, and the manuals of others before you buy. You could get a good deal on the router, only to find out it won't give you the control you want over your son's access.
