Q: My friend gave me this laptop to watch where the C: drive in my computer is an icon of an Office installation CD. It says 37.2GB total space, free space 18.6GB correctly. Right click properties does right and let me defrag, scandisk, etc.
When I double on it, it grinds on the HD for a while and do nothing, or opens the Office setup app!

Yeah, you probably have an autorun.ini in the root folder that's changing the icon and causing it to run the installer.
