If your computer is froze up and won't let you download and use anti virus programs? Download, install, and update Superantispyware on a USB stick using another computer? During install it asks "Destination Folder" change it from C:/Program Files/SUPERAntispyware to K:/SUPERAntispyware or whatever drive the USB stick is in? When your done stick it in the infected computers USB and Reboot in "Safe with networking mode",open super's file and launch the SUPERAntispyware app and run a full scan and delete/quarentine all entities it finds. Download, install and update Malwarebytes normally and run a full scan and delete/quarentine all entities and your done.

Just turn off the security center. It doesn't help as far as I know.

It's not necessary to disable security center completely. Open it up and click on the Recommendations button under Virus Protection. Check the box that says "I have an program that I'll monitor myself". The section will change to a yellow "Not Monitored" status, and your alerts should go away. Make sure you keep your up-to-date!

I agree, Security Center is very useful for making your system is up to snuff on it's updates. I like to leave it enabled.

Re:No it did recognize earlier..
I have been using from the past 3-4 months…
This problem araised 2 days back…humm

Re:Maybe it simply doesn't recognize it?
It didn't recognize AVG 6 either, when I upgraded to AVG 7 it didn't complain.

Of course, about the first thing I do is turn of that annoying security center, so in the long run, it wouldn't matter anyway :)
